Frankie’s Quilt |

|
This is the quilt I made for Frankie. Well, I embroidered or designed and heat transferred 17 of the 20 squares. 1 Square was done by Frankie’s aunt Linda, one by Frankie’s Grandpa, one by Cousin Evonne and one by a friend. I got all the design squares and center dividers sewn together. As the quilt got larger it got harder. It sat in my house for 2 years. Finally I shipped everything to my cousin Evonne, who hand sews quilts. Evonne cut and sewed all the edge pieces, did the trim, and the hardest part of all, she somehow managed to get the front, middle and back together and quilted. (Linda did the square with the Bee. My dad did the iron on square of he and my mom and of course, Evonne did the Chocolate quilted square) Frankie will have a labor of love from her family to keep close to her always. |
